Peter L. Howell
Mr. Howell offers a strong financial and managerial background developed over 35 years in investment banking, commercial banking and senior level financial management. He has extensive experience working with senior managers, entrepreneurs and top-level government officials in complex, high-pressure situations. In addition to his financial background he has developed a solid understanding of governance issues, risk management and stakeholder awareness.
Mr. Howell's career includes several years as a Global Managing Director for Rabobank - one of the largest and strongest banks in the world. In the international arena Rabobank focuses on the food and agriculture sector and during his time with the bank Mr. Howell managed both the Western European and Canadian corporate banking activities. Prior to establishing Howell International Inc. in 1994 Mr. Howell was an Executive Director of the International Advisory Division for Lehman Brothers International where he worked on developing financial strategies for countries and state owned enterprises. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, he was a Vice President of The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in New York and Santiago, Chile where he worked with a range of companies from small corporates to large corporate restructurings.
As Managing Director of Howell International from 1994 to 2006 Mr. Howell had the privilege of working with numerous organizations of all sizes and stages of maturity.
Mr. Howell has lived in six countries and worked in countries on almost every continent. He speaks Spanish and Italian and is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

The Firm was established in 1994 and operated successfully until 2006 when it was put into hibernation by its principal, Peter L. Howell, who had the opportunity to work with Rabobank in Milan, London and Toronto. 2016 marks a re-launch of the Firm's activities.
